Aberlour A'bunadh 59.9%
Batch # 29 bottles . 02.12.09 LA41115
Color: tea brew
Nose : plums, red apples, sherry, raisins and dried fruits. Dense and rich aroma, without any hint of alcoholicity.
Body: dense, enveloping
Taste : powerful influence of sherry, raisins, maple syrup, buckwheat honey, chocolate and cinnamon. Light oak and mint echo of a second wave of flavor.
With water: aroma becomes a little less crowded, although the overall picture remains unchanged. The taste is added nuance of roasted chestnuts.
Finish: long, warming
course, the whiskey is good, and sixty degrees fortress almost not felt. It is true that over time this feeling somewhat "smeared" because Molt begins to press insistently redundant sherry. Taste is monoplanar, with a shift of balance toward cloying.
