Brunello Di Montalcino Uggiano 2003 DOCG 13.5%
Date of bottling 24/03/08
Nose: ripe berries , leather, tobacco, dried pomegranate rind
Body: low density (which is surprising considering the 4 years that wine is held in a barrel! )
Taste: Powerful - prevail notes of oak barrels, tannins, wild berries, spices, tones of old leather
Finish: long, oak, tannins
very well balanced wine, a classic of the genre, perhaps the best offer in this price category. In any case, a high sense of potential of beverages.
4.75 out of 6 points
